Day 1: Home Port

Welcome Aboard Video

You'll meet with the onboard video team to film your new Welcome Aboard video, which airs on your dedicated Port Shopping Live! network, where you are the star.

Presentation Preparation

You'll spend the rest of the day mingling with guests, handing out special invitations to attend your Port Shopping Talk and Diamond & Gemstone Seminar, which take place on Day 2 of your cruise. You'll also prepare for your presentations, which we've made easy for you. Our Port Shopping Guides don't have to spend countless hours trying to make presentation slides and flyers. Our lightening-fast media team provides all the tools for you in easy-to-use templates. This allows you to focus on the task at hand: driving purchases at the retailers on our program in the ports of call.

Port Shopping Talk

The morning of Day 2, you'll work the crowd into a frenzy at your exciting and informative Port Shopping Talk, which is attended by hundreds of cruise guests eager to learn how to save both time and money in the ports of call.

Diamond & Gemstone Seminar

In a more intimate setting than the Port Shopping Talk, you'll deliver the informative Diamond & Gemstone Seminar.

Port Shopping Desk Hours

Meet with guests in a one-on-one setting. Your goal is to enhance guest experiences with personalized shopping recommendations. Oftentimes, you'll be helping people plan and celebrate special occasions like anniversaries, marriage proposals, weddings, birthdays, and more.

Targeted VIP Referrals

Your VIP cards direct guests to specific retailers in the ports of call.

Day 3: In Port

Gangway Duty

As guests head into port, you are on hand to answer any last-minute Port Shopping questions and wish them luck as they head into port to find their treasures.

Retailer Visits

While the ship is in port, you'll visit the retailers on our program, addressing any concerns and discussing future promotions to help drive sales.

Special Port Shopping Events

You'll host special port shopping events at select retailers, complete with exciting prizes and giveaways.

Customer Relations

Put your expertise to good use and help guests find those special items while they are perusing the stores listed on Royal Media Partners' Port Shopping Maps.

Back at the desk for more shopping-related fun.

Customer Relations

After making purchases in the ports of call, guests will visit the Port Shopping Desk to activate the cruise-line guarantees and show off the new treasures they procured based on your recommendations.
